The history of childhood and youth as a field of research in academia has increasingly occupied the scientific community over the past three decades, resulting in the development of an interesting and multifaceted issue regarding its institutional entity, as well as its social, ideological, and cultural dimensions.
However, in the modern world, the attention of the social sciences in general – including history – is focused on the study of children's fundamental rights, life, and free development from external coercion, education, and pedagogy.
This particular study does not essentially constitute an independent historiographical "field" evolving highly thematically and in a sealed manner, without taking into account the historical context that traditional historiography characterized as "general history" in contrast to overall history.
The static division into age-social categories is or, at best, should be conventional, as it does not respond to the flow of "events," in the universal exploration of the past.
