(i) the possibility that in the end a new "species" is created, without the rights it might be entitled to after the "end" of whatever use...
(ii) the possibility that new permanent forms of inequality may arise, which may imply a technologically very advanced "middle ages" in terms of stratification and opportunities for personal progress and development.

When Rosa and I were new, they had placed us in the middle of the store, next to the small table with the magazines, and we could see through most of the display window. This way, we could watch what was happening outside – the office workers rushing by, the taxis, the runners, the tourists, the Beggar with his dog, the lower part of the ASA Building*. Once we settled in there properly, the Manager allowed us to go to the front area, right behind the display window, and then we could see how tall the ASA Building was. And if we happened to be there at the right moment, we could see the path of the Sun, watching it pass between the tops of the buildings on our side, all the way to the opposite side of the ASA Building.
The time I was lucky enough to see its path, I had turned my whole face toward it, to receive as much nourishment as possible, and if Rosa had been with me, I would have told her to do the same. After one or two minutes, we had to return to our place, and since we were new, we worried that we might weaken because from the middle of the store we couldn’t often see the Sun. But Rex, the TF Boy*, who was near us then, told us there was no reason to worry, that the Sun had ways to reach us wherever we were. He pointed to the floorboards and said, “There, those are the Sun’s patterns. When you worry, you can simply touch them and regain your strength.” There were no customers when Rex said this, and the store Manager was busy tidying up some things on the Red Shelves, so I didn’t want to interrupt her or ask for her permission.
