Description

Looking back at the 2000-year History since the incarnation of Jesus Christ requires, without a doubt, knowledge and courage. We have tried to compensate for both by delving into the annals of Church History, Hagiography, Patrology, Dogmatics, Sacred Canons, Chronography, and contemporary Journalism.

We have gathered the most important – in our opinion – Figures and Events. We presented what is mentioned about them in a concise and simple manner, without anything superfluous or missing, and free from footnotes, references, or obscure expressions. We adorned them with images and photographs, so that the text is visually complemented.

We believe that in this way, the true interest of readers is evoked, the study becomes enjoyable, and ultimately something remains in their soul and heart, which we very much desire.

The work, blessed with a letter by His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, was written by Mr. Evangelos P. Lekkos, theologian, lawyer, and former Director of the Apostolic Diakonia. Printed entirely in four colors, it spans 448 pages in the size of 17×24 cm. It is a true, concise panorama of the 20 centuries of Christianity.
