The little monster has enough power to compete with humbuckers and warm P-90s. The stronger magnetic field comes from the ¼ inch micro-magnets and the special coil winding, maintaining the "bite" and detail in the high frequencies while producing thick, full mids. It is extremely useful in overdrive conditions.

The STR-3 rhythm pickup matches the lead in tone and output but uses 3/16 inch micro-magnets and is available with a chrome-plated brass cover.
