The DB-1 faithfully reproduces the tone range and dynamic range of your instrument without modification. A wooden piezo sensor is securely placed in the "eye" of the bridge of the instrument, held in position by friction. Shim discs ensure a perfect fit. The 1/4 jack socket securely attaches to the back, screwed into the "eye" of the string. The DB-1 is completely passive, designed to work flawlessly with your favorite amplifier or to be colored through preamp selection.
