Every now and then it doesn't work perfectly with the Tuya app, especially when it comes to CarPlay and Android Auto, but that wouldn't stop me from buying it again.

It connects easily, as long as the garage door accepts a button to open. I use it on a sliding door, with the Tuya app it doesn't show correctly when it is open or closed. Maybe with a second magnet, I will get back to it.

The connection was made on a Grital FS-1000 garage door motor. It is ready for use in 10 minutes at most. It was successfully connected to Google Home, where it operates with the digital assistant. It has a powerful wifi transmitter, with the modem on the ground floor and the antenna on the motor in the basement, without any disconnection.

In a simple setup of a local WiFi network, it may work seamlessly. In my setup with T{LINK mesh WiFi and multiple Deco M5 access points, they sometimes connect and sometimes appear offline, even though I created a separate WiFi network exclusively on the 2.4GHz band as instructed to connect them. I purchased 2 identical devices that are installed in the same area, one for an external door and one for a garage door. I should note that although I ordered 2 identical devices that came in identical packaging, they are shown with different options on Tuya and have different versions, and none of them have any firmware updates available on Tuya. However, when they are connected, they function properly, as does the open/closed indication when you also install the sensor-magnet. In terms of their price, they are a decent choice, as long as the buyer does not have any connectivity issues.

Yes, it's good, useful of course, but compared to the equivalent athom, it is inferior. I don't know if it's the fault of this specific application (tuya) but the smart life showed you if it received the command or not. Many times the garage door is open and it shows me that it's closed and vice versa. With smart life, I never had this problem and when I gave the command to open, it always showed me if it received it or not. Hence, 4/5

Very good, it does what it says. However, be careful if you use a small power supply, you will never be able to connect it. It requires more than 2 Amperes.

It does its job well but it needs a little patience with the app... it takes a lot of effort to connect to the device! However, once it is connected, it works quickly and seamlessly.
