It broke the first time! I used a Weber gas BBQ... I put the skewer with the wire inside and the base and thermometer outside... It started whistling and showed HHHH... Despite my efforts, it does NOT recover... The temperature of the closed barbecue was about 180 degrees Celsius.

Very bad screen, you have to look at it from a specific angle to see what it says, also the lighting is flickering. Finally, it takes a long time to take measurements. I do not recommend it

Excellent thermometer. Tested with various meats and fish. It does its job perfectly without any issues. And most importantly, it provides accurate measurements without any deviations. I only use it as a stopwatch and it does the job. As for the thermometer, I haven't managed very well with it. I got burned when I touched the tip of the probe without gloves, so it requires caution... and in the end, due to my carelessness, I had the base near the stove and it melted. I didn't try to see if it still works.
