The Aputure DEC kit combines a lens adapter and wireless controller, allowing Canon EF and EF-S lenses to be used with Sony E-mount cameras. It wirelessly adjusts focus, aperture, and other functions from a distance of up to approximately 100 m.

The controller’s slider smoothly adjusts focus, increasing in speed the further it is moved. The controller also supports switching between two preset focus points, locking the iris, and starting or stopping video recording. Both the adapter and controller feature OLED displays showing focal length, aperture, wireless signal, and battery charge.

The adapter’s mount is made of matte brass. Both units charge via Micro USB, and the adapter can be charged while in use. The kit includes a hard carrying case that protects against water and dust, with a shock-absorbing interior.
