Lenses with a focal length of 80-135mm on full frame, 50-75mm on crop frame, and 120-180mm on medium format are ideal for portrait photography as they allow photography from a medium distance and flatter the subject's features. Larger focal lengths are used for wildlife photography, sports events, and generally for all subjects that require a greater distance.

    The type of mount that the camera body must have in order for the lens to be fully functional when attached to it.

  • One extra-low dispersion element
  • One aspherical element
  • Four elements made from highly transparent glass

These help to reduce chromatic and spherical aberrations, achieving high sharpness and clarity. An HD Nano multi-layer coating has been applied to suppress flare and ghosting, enhancing contrast in strong lighting conditions.

Additionally, the lens features an STM motor for fast, silent autofocus performance, with a minimum focusing distance of 80cm for working with close-up subjects.
