  • There has never been a product with such good longevity over time and such poor connection quality even at minimal distance.
With a few minutes of use on a computer and a bit more on a mobile phone, the controller shows ghosting on the right stick and half of its buttons do not work. It is not worth its money, nor the reputation of the company.
Better to get a Bluetooth controller, even for PC.

I have been using it for almost 15 years and it has passed through countless hands so you understand that it is durable! It doesn't hesitate anywhere, generally whatever game you put on it will support it, and it even has its own little program through Windows! I remove 1 star because in some places on the analog sticks it has started to fade, and also because the build quality could have been slightly better...

I bought 2 a week ago. Sturdy, quality construction, all the buttons work correctly, but the good stops here. It has a known issue with disconnections (I realized this after experiencing it and searching on Google). Sometimes it reconnects and works for 10-15 minutes and other times it loses connection every minute, to the point where you want to break it. STAY AWAY FROM THIS GAMEPAD! After this, Logitech has fallen in my eyes and unfortunately, it is the only relatively cheap and "good" alternative wireless gamepad.

EDIT: For those who disagree with me, I would be very happy to give them away. I've had them in a drawer since I bought them.

After 1 year of use, I have to say that I expected more from the f710 as I already had a pair of f310 for 4 years and they proved to be workhorses, so I am evaluating it in comparison to those. Sleek style (as Logitech as it gets), build quality is average to good, noisy buttons, there is a slight delay in force feedback, and there is a 1/100 chance that a command will not register at all (the dongle is connected to the PC at a distance of 1.5m from the controller, which does not explain it). Ideal for solo gaming, unsuitable for competitive (fifa, gtav, asseto corsa). I wanted to buy two to make a set, but I bought only one to try it out and as it seems, I will continue searching to buy something more competitive.

Lightweight is not the word, however, it seems that the build quality is impeccable. It doesn't surprise me that it has been on the market for so many years and still sells for 40 euros.

Gamepads that cost over 100€ have analog sticks that break within two months. I don't know what those who bought this are smoking and complain that the plastic broke after 1-2 or 5 years of sweating. For 40€, if it lasts for five months, let alone years, I will be satisfied. Seriously, come on guys.

After a few years (3 to 4), the black material on the back dissolves and sticks everywhere on the hands.

If it wasn't for that, it would be very reliable. Essentially, this material determines the expiration date of trouble-free use.

I had bought one years ago and it lasted me for over 5 years. The only issue I've recently encountered is that the left analog stick doesn't work well when pressed as a button. It's not that the analog stick doesn't work for movement, of course. I bought another one for 40 euros and it's just what I needed for its price. It's very convenient and closest to a PS5 and Xbox gamepad

    It is good! sturdy!
the vibration may not always work, it depends on whether the game supports it.
but if it supports it, it simply works without any settings needed.
the only negative, which may not be negative, is that the Lt and Rt have a heavy press.

It does not have the perfection of the Microsoft gamepad, but it has half the price. If you are a gamer and your finances allow it, get the Microsoft one. Differences: it is smaller, and the directional pad (cross) is of medium quality. Overall, it is of good quality with a three-year warranty. It connects wirelessly seamlessly, without any effort. It comes with batteries and a USB cable for wired connection.

Edit: It had a connectivity issue on Windows 11: after a shutdown or restart, you had to unplug and plug in the receiver again for it to be recognized.

    Two solutions:
    1) Go to Device Manager > right-click on the Logitech F710 device that appears with a question mark because it does not have a driver > select "Update driver" > select "Search my computer for drivers" > select "Browse my computer for driver software" > select "XBOX receiver".
    2) https://github.com/mrsilver76/Logitech-F710-Windows-driver

After 3 years of use, the receiver broke and you have to press it halfway in to catch it. Also, on Windows 10, you have to hack it to make it work, which is unacceptable for a big company when something like ipega connects and simply plays without any issues. I had this issue with a keyboard-mouse set from the same company, it broke and I threw them away. It is very well constructed, on par with the original PS3/Xbox controller. But if it breaks, what can you do with it?

I bought 2 identical gamepads about 3 years ago. Overall, it's a good gamepad. It has good responsiveness as long as the receiver is relatively close and in line of sight (not behind the PC). The batteries last a long time. Within the first year, the receiver of one of them broke. After contacting Logitech (and a little bit of nagging because they initially refused), they sent me a new one. Since then, everything has been fine

The best thing I have tried in joysticks and I have tried many. I have had it for 12 years and the only thing that has happened is that it has started to fade from use and the rubber on the sticks has worn out, so I am looking to find new ones to replace them. It works perfectly and flawlessly on both Win10 and 11, just download the xinput drivers. Tested on countless games, never had any compatibility issues. The batteries, with daily 3-hour use at best, easily last 2 months. I read a comment that someone changes batteries every 2 weeks, not even close. And I use batteries from Lidl, not expensive ones. The only controllers I can compare it to are the DualShock of the PS5 and the Microsoft Xbox, which are superior but also cost twice as much. If anything ever happens to it, I will go back to the same one with my eyes closed and I'm glad I haven't had to change it yet and it's still available.

I have it for two days now and I am satisfied for now. It is somewhat bulky, so it may seem a bit clumsy to someone with small hands. It is clearly heavier than the PS3 controllers and it takes 2 AA batteries. It even had 2 non-rechargeable batteries in the box. The buttons are quite hard, although it doesn't bother me. It has a range of about 10 meters theoretically and it only connects with its own receiver (which is included) and not any Bluetooth dongle. It also has an extension cable for cases of interference or when the user is sitting far away from the receiver. I bought it for about 30 euros, while the Microsoft controllers cost around 60 euros here for a long time, so I am satisfied with the money I spent.

Edit: 6 months later with periodic use, there hasn't been any problem, nor have I discovered anything that bothers me.

Edit 2: It is not suitable for underwater sardine can navigation. Maybe try another one.

When we talk about a wireless controller, obviously I wasn't looking for something with batteries that would bind me to buy batteries every 2 weeks like I do now! It's not rechargeable if you don't have a charger for the batteries.

It's the 8th or 9th one I'm getting, simply because I've worn out the previous ones. I know that the Microsoft controller is considered the benchmark of the category, so I got one and gave it away after a week. I don't think it can be compared to Logitech's. It's a black (well, gray) dog, you forget to charge it (you can use rechargeable batteries, though) and it plays everything. Negatives? Of course it has them, like everything else. It's somewhat bulky, there's the classic issue with the drivers (not such a big issue though, because you can use the generic ones from Windows for Xbox 360), and the buttons are a liiiiiittle noisy from a certain point onwards (nothing too special though). I don't know, guys, I've been looking everywhere to find a worthy replacement and none seem capable. Maybe the elite series 2, but at this price and with the quality issues that many mention, thanks but no thanks.

I have 2 of these and 2 corresponding wired ones from Logitech (F310). Personally, I now use it to play less demanding games like GTAV, RDR2 on PC. It serves me well in those, I feel like I'm handling something of quality, the buttons are easy to press, and the absence of a cable helps you relax on your couch. The vibration is fine and the battery consumption seems fine (I put in new alkaline batteries the day I got it and I've been playing for a few hours every day for 3 months and still haven't had to change them). However, its major problem lies in the wireless connection, which often acts up and gets lost, making you want to break it. Also, on a Raspberry with Retropie installed, there is lag in arcade games, for example, you can't play NES Tetris at a level >= 12 because the command delay is tragic, so there I only play with the wired one that has no issues. Overall, I wouldn't choose it again.

Because I have read in many reviews that it loses its signal from time to time, I have the solution for you. Because it operates at a frequency of 2.4GHz and we all have WiFi in our homes, which probably operates on the same frequency (the modem, that is), interferences are created that cause signal interruptions. This happens in 99% of cases and the solution is simple. Go to the settings of your modem and change its operating frequency to 5GHz. Each modem operates differently, but similarly, and to do this, you can Google it. I did it and I have never lost signal again. The controller is excellent, its batteries last incredibly long, and the problem with the drivers that some people have is easily solved as well. Just install the drivers from the Xbox controller that already exist on your computer.

I have bought the lever 3 times. I am now sure that the L3 R3 (the analogs) are problematic. They move on their own. You can't play a game without getting frustrated. The wireless connection is unstable. It constantly loses contact. I do not recommend this model at all. I tried to believe in it, but it is really impossible. It's a shame for the money I spent...

Edit: I returned the lever as defective, they sent me a new one, but again within 6 months it had a problem with these specific buttons.

Very good quality of materials and construction! Convenient to hold and quite heavy, which is an advantage for me! Very good button response and feedback!
The negative aspect is the connectivity, sometimes it loses signal and becomes annoying!

    Do not buy it if..............win10
The controller is good and of high quality. But it doesn't work at all on Windows 10.
I used it on Windows 7 and it worked perfectly. It was the best controller I had. Until I had to upgrade to Windows 10. The Windows system stopped recognizing it. I gave it to someone else with the same operating system and it didn't recognize it there either. So don't buy it. The only one to blame is the company that manufactured it because they abandoned it in terms of drivers for Windows 10. It didn't work even with the switch it has in front, xinput. It's really a shame for such a product. But I haven't seen the manufacturing company release any new models for years. It seems like they are no longer interested in Gamepads

The worst thing I have ever held in my hands!!!!! The controller is completely useless. I bought two. Right now, there is none available. I was so frustrated that I wanted to break both of them out of anger.
So, I wasted 90€. 45€ each. I still cry over it.
However, honestly, I calmed down. When you wanted to pass close, the pass went far. When you wanted it far, it went close.
One-on-one with the goalkeeper, you pressed for a shot but there was no shot.
    Disgraceful and useless.

A very good gamepad, quite high-quality, but it didn't suit me in terms of grip and I preferred another one that has the joystick in the position of the D-pad. It is quite heavy and can tire you out during long gaming sessions, but it has a very good feel when pressing the buttons.
At the price of €25 that I bought it, there is no other competitor at the moment. For its original price, I would go for the Microsoft controller, namely the Xbox, which is very good.
The most negative aspect is that there are no drivers for Windows 10, why Logitech, why?

  • There has never been a product with such good longevity over time and such poor connection quality even at minimal distance.
With a few minutes of use on a computer and a bit more on a mobile phone, the controller shows ghosting on the right stick and half of its buttons do not work. It is not worth its money, nor the reputation of the company.
Better to get a Bluetooth controller, even for PC.

  • I have been using it for almost 15 years and it has passed through countless hands so you understand that it is durable! It doesn't hesitate anywhere, generally whatever game you put on it will support it, and it even has its own little program through Windows! I remove 1 star because in some places on the analog sticks it has started to fade, and also because the build quality could have been slightly better...

  • I bought 2 a week ago.

  • After 1 year of use, I have to say that I expected more from the f710 as I already had a pair of f310 for 4 years and they proved to be workhorses, so I am evaluating it in comparison to those.
