  • Right now that it’s selling for around €10 on Skroutz, it’s a buy with your eyes closed. It’s not worth more than that.

What this accessory does is replace the rotating sticks that the company has released so you can make use of Insta360’s Bullet Time mode.

On the positive side, I’ll say that it’s small, lightweight, and you can really carry it everywhere, and it works very well with Bullet Time mode. At first, someone will need to learn how to use it, but it’s easy. You need to pay attention to the surrounding area and the height so that neither you nor anyone else gets hit, and of course so the camera doesn’t hit anything.

As a negative, what I found is that with occasional use over time, the cord showed wear and eventually I went to the trouble of replacing it myself so I wouldn’t have an accident in the end. It’s not an easy process to open it up and replace it, though. I put in medium fishing line after opening it since I had already opened it, and now it has gained months of life in use.

I emphasize that even up to €10–12 it’s worth buying. Beyond that, it’s better to wait for discounts so that one of the other sticks that it has exclusively for Bullet Time drops in price.

I’ve added two images; one is from the insert so you can see how it works. Once you learn it, it’s easy to use, it just needs a little editing in the final video since you’ll start recording before you lift it up to spin.

  • Useful accessory for capturing unique shots (slow motion) with the Bullet time feature of Insta360 X3 and X4. From what I researched, read, and observed during its use, it has good construction and there is no fear of the cord breaking. Note that you should not make too fast rotations as it slightly degrades the image. It requires a normal intensity. Equally good solution is the hand grip bullet time, but it is slightly more expensive

It does its job but requires a bit of practice at the beginning so you don't get hurt!
