    It removes dirt from the surface of the car but do not apply too much pressure as it scratches the paint. Always use a clay lubricant or soapy water as an alternative (the best is during washing).

    Note: ALL clays leave fine scratches, which is why many consider using it when the car is to be polished (it also helps the wax adhere better). Otherwise, use a stain remover and paint prep.
