Emotion and deep impression arise in our souls when we see the Christian love and genuine paternal concern that the Saint of God, Arsenius, had for suffering people, whether they were Christians or Muslims, Greeks or Turks, Armenians or Kurds.

Saint Paisios mentions: “It is true that the Father, wherever he went and sick people were brought to him for prayer, never examined whether the sick person was a Christian or Turkish, but what illness they were suffering from, in order to find the appropriate prayer.” (Saint Arsenius of Cappadocia, I.
