The Fournier El Gran Esoterico Tarot deck contains 78 cards illustrated by Luis Pena Longa, featuring primary colors on a white background with black borders. Its aesthetic is reminiscent of the Tarot of Marseille, with several distinctive variations. The Major Arcana cards are numbered with Roman numerals and have Spanish titles, with the exception of the Death card. The Major Arcana cards and the Minor Arcana court cards also feature astrological symbols and Hebrew letters.
The numbered Minor Arcana cards have no titles and feature the traditional suit symbols. Each suit has its own theme: Wands with fire and animals, Cups with flowers, birds and butterflies, Swords with water and marine life, and Pentacles with earth and plants.
