The ACCU-ND technology in Hoya PROND filters delivers truly neutral color that does not add any noticeable tint to images. The Hoya PROND series offers 9 filters, ranging from two stops to 10 stops of light reduction.
The metal ACCU-ND coating on PROND filters prevents color shift, a common issue in other series of neutral density filters. White balance can be set once and the same color balance can be maintained, even with changes in lighting or for creative needs.
The PROND filters exclusively use Hoya optical glass with a metal ACCU-ND coating for the neutral density effect. Neutral filters reduce the amount of light entering the camera lens without affecting the image.
Light reduction allows for the use of larger apertures or slower shutter speeds for creative and dramatic effects in bright lighting conditions. The PROND32 provides 5 stops of light reduction, equivalent to 1.5 optical density ND.
