Mercola TopSil aquarium silicone is a flexible, one-component silicone for aquarium construction and glazing. It is UV-resistant and remains flexible after application. It is suitable for marine applications and standard building surfaces.
It can be used for flexible bonding of glass and metal structures, as well as for sealing cold rooms, air-conditioning systems and containers. Application surfaces must be dry and free of dust and grease. For porous surfaces, use ISOCRYL PRIMER DUR, ISOCRYL PRIMER DUR AQUA or PRIMER PU 900. Apply with a silicone gun and shape the finished surface with soapy water before it dries. It is not suitable for PVC, PE, PP, PTFE, bituminous substrates, natural stone or marble. Due to its acidic nature, it may affect metals such as copper and lead.
