Description

The LED bulb that, in addition to saving energy, will make your home a little more... smart! Through your mobile phone or tablet, it can connect to your WiFi network, allowing you to control it remotely without needing to go to the switch or be at home. From the mobile app, you can also choose the desired light color for your bulb. It supports connection with the smart ecosystems of Google Home and Alexa (Amazon), giving you even more capabilities, such as turning it on and off with your voice. The brightness of the bulb can be adjusted to different intensities, allowing you to customize it to your needs, whether you need low lighting or more intense light. This particular bulb, if placed alone, is capable of adequately lighting a small space of about 3 square meters. It can replace an incandescent bulb from 25 to 32 watts or a halogen bulb from 15 to 19 watts, maintaining the same level of brightness in the space.

Nice as lamps, many functions, settings from the app to make them shine as you like in your space. Mediocre quality though, I have already thrown one away after just a year of occasional use because it was flickering. Now I have two lamps that while they work fine in white light, in relaxation (soft blue) they flicker. Again. I'm on the verge of throwing them all away

  • Really many options through the app and relatively easy connection to the internet. Features also through Google Home

  • The lamp has a strong illumination, it easily connected to wifi through the application, and you can choose different lighting colors, various dynamic lighting modes, as well as program it to turn on with a schedule. It can also be adjusted so that with the second quick switch opening, it is in the mode of whichever lighting program you choose from the application.

I upgraded my internet speed to 200 Mbps and since then, the problem with occasional disconnections that I had has been almost completely resolved... Since then, I have also been using the new router.

I play with Deco's mesh system, which is wifi 6 and can seamlessly handle 150 devices, meaning that with 3 towers set up in the house, I have full signal everywhere. I even have a wifi water heater at home and nothing disconnects. I have 17 of these and the bulbs just get stuck... They suddenly turn on where they are playing, and then half or fewer of them light up. I have to turn off the switch, turn it back on to recover, and this happens three times a day.
I contacted any support available, searched for any other possible problem, and concluded that for now, they have a serious issue with the firmware. If the issue is resolved, I will come back.

    4/09/2023
Fortunately, the issue has been largely resolved. They probably did a firmware update. Disconnections are minimal to nonexistent. I insist that in terms of connectivity, they are inferior to Xiaomi, which is half the price, considering that they are a subsidiary of Philips

I have at least 25 Wiz bulbs at home and in my professional space, and they have been working flawlessly since 2019! I have never had any disconnection issues, but if you have many of these, you will need a wireless router better than the ones provided by Internet service providers. With a good router (50-100€), there is never a problem! With the cheap ones they give us for free, we experience delays and disconnections, but it's not the bulbs' fault, it's the routers that can't handle multiple devices simultaneously...

Update January 2023: I still don't have any problems with the bulbs. I read various things about disconnections, I don't know what to say! I have them with a Xiaomi Wi-Fi 6 router in both spaces, not a single disconnection in the past 4 years!

Disappointment!!! In the rest of the house, I have Philips Hue, so I decided to try Wiz because I read good reviews and they are also affordable. So, I bought 3 GU10 bulbs and unfortunately, I made a mistake. They have good brightness and nice colors BUT they constantly disconnect. Sometimes one turns on, sometimes not, sometimes only one or two out of the three! I just wasted my money! With the HUE bulbs, I have never had any problems for 1.5 years now. The only downside is the price, but in the end, you get what you pay for!

For a month of use, everything works perfectly. I use it in a 15 square meter room with a light fixture that has 4 of these bulbs, and the brightness is sufficient to very good. The Wiz application didn't disappoint me at all, and its functions truly give you the feeling of being smart...
