This is a handy pocket guide with 384 color pages, dimensions 14 x 10 cm, which replaces an older (2010) pocket guide by the same author, updated with new data arising from the continuous evolution of mycology and improved with new thematic sections and mushroom species that are presented for the first time in the printed Greek bibliography.
The guide aims to function as a field guide, as it presents, describes, and compares 200 mushroom species with an emphasis on the top edible species intended for our basket and plate, as well as the toxic or deadly species that we need to know and avoid.
