The Salewa Wildfire Edge Mid GTX women's hiking boots are designed for technical approaches, climbing and hiking. The Switchfit system allows you to adjust the fit: tightening the laces pulls the foot forward for greater precision when climbing, while loosening them creates more room in the toe box for hiking. The waterproof, breathable Gore-Tex Extended Comfort lining helps wick away moisture.

The upper is made from 1.6 mm suede, and the 3F system, together with the additional shell, provides flexibility, a secure fit, support and torsional stability. The insole has a rigid zone along the side and around the big toe for precision when climbing, while the rest remains flexible. The Pomoca Speed MTN Pro outsole features a climbing zone at the toe, edges and spaced lugs for traction on rock and soft ground. The elastic collar keeps out snow, soil and dirt, while the MFF+ insole lets you adjust the internal volume.
