Description

Description

The Razer Kiyo Pro is a high-performance USB camera with an adaptive light sensor for professional streaming and video conferencing. It offers uncompressed 1080p video quality at 60FPS, HDR support, and a wide-angle lens with adjustable field of view.

Sony STARVIS™ Sensor & Adaptive Lighting

The imaging architecture of the Kiyo Pro is based on the Sony STARVIS™ 1/2.8 CMOS sensor, which incorporates back-illuminated technology for optimal sensitivity. With a pixel size of 2.9μm, the sensor achieves superior light collection, allowing the system to automatically adjust exposure in real time. This ensures high clarity and reduced noise in both low-light conditions and environments with intense backlighting, making it ideal for variable setup conditions.

Uncompressed 1080p 60FPS Video & HDR

The camera supports native recording and transmission of uncompressed video at FHD 1080p resolution with a refresh rate of 60 FPS, offering excellent motion smoothness and image fidelity without compression artifacts. Additionally, it provides the option to enable HDR mode at 30 FPS. This technology increases the dynamic range of the video, balancing overexposed areas and highlighting details in dark areas, for more vivid and accurate color reproduction.

Wide-Angle Lens & Corning® Gorilla® Glass 3

The optical system consists of a wide-angle large-aperture lens, which is protected by Corning® Gorilla® Glass 3. This material offers up to 4x greater scratch resistance compared to conventional aluminosilicate glass, ensuring the longevity of the lens. Through the Razer Synapse software, the user can adjust the field of view (FOV) to three distinct options: Narrow, Medium, or Wide, allowing for precise framing according to presentation needs.

USB 3.0 Connectivity & Mounting Base

Data transfer is carried out via a USB 3.0 interface, which supports signal speeds of up to 5 GB/s. This bandwidth allows for the transmission of uncompressed video signal with zero latency. The device comes with a flexible L-shaped mounting base, which attaches securely to monitors or desktop surfaces. The base is detachable, revealing a standard threaded socket for direct mounting of the camera onto a tripod.

Control Software & Privacy Cover

For complete image management, the camera works with the Razer Synapse 3 software, offering manual settings for brightness, contrast, saturation, and white balance. The settings can be saved in profiles for instant recall. The camera is compatible with platforms such as OBS and XSplit. Finally, a physical privacy cover is included, which fits over the lens when the camera is not in use, ensuring the user's privacy.

Very good, as long as you don't install its software. The image lags. I'm talking about video calls as I use it for my work

  • The camera is amazing, unfortunately the microphone is not that good. I had to buy some low-cost independent headphones whose microphone performs better than the microphone of this particular camera. On the positive side, how it hooks onto the screen (it is absolutely stable), the image quality is incredibly good, the cable is unfortunately short. Given the poor microphone, its price is steep. You only buy it if you combine it with independent headphones with a microphone.

From the image, the best camera on the market. Incredibly clear image like watching TV. The microphone is TRAGIC. They couldn't hear me in a serious video call, so I ended up seeing them through the camera and talking to them on my phone. The cable is short. I bought such an expensive camera (93 euros) to be seen and heard. For now, they only see me.

    I replaced a 720 Logitech with the Razer KIYO Pro at 1080p - 60fps.

    It works on Mac.
There is no application for Mac for settings, etc.
I never found the adaptive light sensor - I don't think it works.
It has never given me 60fps.

I have tried almost every webcam from Zoom, Webex, Slack, etc. etc., Jitsi, etc. etc., Viber, anything that has an application has a camera, the results are mediocre at best.

If you have a Mac, find another one - it's a shame for the advertised features at this price

There really are no words for this camera. It is clearly the best webcam on the market and compared to the c920 that I was using, it is literally day and night.
The image is incredibly clear. In low light conditions, it is quite good and a huge upgrade for someone who wants to get into streaming or YouTube, etc.
The camera software is quite user-friendly, although I haven't delved too much into it. I set up the settings that worked for me in 5 minutes and haven't touched them since.

I really have nothing negative to say about the camera. 10/10 Definitely the best webcam on the market.

P.S: There may be people looking for that nice bokeh effect from the camera, don't get confused, guys. That is done by DSLR cameras. It can be done by a webcam as well, but you will need good lighting and proper placement of the webcam.

Excellent image even in very low lighting, and professional microphone. Unlike the Logitech c920 I had before, you don't need to have a lamp AND on your greenscreen. I also discovered that you can screw it onto a DSLR tripod.

It is a quite expensive camera that definitely is not worth it if someone does not make frequent calls or streaming. It is quite bulky but its base is stable and can sit wherever you want, both on a screen and on a table. Although I liked the ring light of the regular Kiyo, the truth is that the pro works perfectly in all lighting conditions. Very good image and sound. Of course, from what I see in other comments, it is common for cameras to have issues. My first one wasn't even recognized by the PC. Razer support is a bit slow, but they replace it. The second one I received initially had the lines that someone else mentioned, but as soon as I did the software update, it was fixed. I like that it has a cover, but almost 200 euros for a cover, it's better to use a post-it on a regular camera. For its price, I hope it lasts for many years.

Very satisfied, with the latest firmware update they improved the only flaw, which was the autofocus. Very beautiful construction, it stands wherever you want (either on the screen or below with many options), it has a cover for protection (I didn't expect it) and the software is very useful. Tremendous performance with minimal lighting, I think compared to the brio it has a much better lens (F2.0 with Gorilla Glass 3). It may not have 4K, but the truth is I don't need it, I prefer the 60fps and the larger FOV.

Purchased on 18/3/21. I received it on 7/4/21, and after 1 hour of use, the problems started. The screen suddenly began displaying colorful lines and shapes intermittently and freezing. After contacting Razer's technical support and exchanging endless messages for 2 weeks, they decided to replace the product. Another 3 weeks waiting for the camera to be replaced by the service in Singapore. Finally, I receive it and connect it with excitement, expecting the problem to be resolved, but I realize that the problem still exists! I contact technical support again, and they start with the endless messages for troubleshooting the new camera that I received again. Even today, I haven't resolved the issue with this specific company. I have now been almost 2 months with a non-functional camera trying to do my work. The camera was tested on 3 different PCs. The conclusions are up to you.

  • There really are no words for this camera.
