For very light use within the city, they might be good. For use in the mountains with walking on hard snow or ice, they are unsuitable because they keep coming off (I put laces to stabilize them on the shoes…) and they are slippery because the spikes are very short!

Light, relatively easy to put on a simple hiking boot and they hold well on ice. They lost one star because at some point one came off and I didn't notice and I lost it, so either I needed to put them on better or they didn't fit my foot well, size 39.

Unacceptable. Although I got them in the correct size, they kept coming off, resulting firstly in me almost falling because they were turning, and in the end I simply lost them

I bought them to replace others that kept coming off while walking. These are even worse, you can't even walk 200 m. Don't even think about it, wasted money. Spend a little more and get some that secure properly. At least they won't come off.

The tests were initially conducted on a forest road covered with snow, but also on a completely icy one after a few days. The following winter, the test included walking on a frozen lake (photo). Without any exaggeration, their grip on ice is impressive. No difference from walking on dry ground. They fit easily on boots and give you a sense of security. Obviously, they are not for climbing, but for walking in conditions like those in the photos, they are a good choice for the money.
Upd: Regarding the size, the boots in the photo (Salomon X Ultra 3) are size 43 1/3 and the size I chose is the one described on the site as 44-47 (on the bottom of the spikes the letter L-->Large is written).

I bought them in the middle of last summer for occasional use in case of ice during the winter. Today, with snowfall, I tried them for the first time. It took me a little while to put them on my shoes, but when I placed the first one, I put the second one on in less than a minute. With work boots that I tried them on, they are a perfect product. Although at first I thought they would come off, I did all the usual movements in my walking and they didn't come off. I walked on snow, on asphalt roads, on cement, on marble and tiles, and the crampons really work like suction cups and you don't slip even a millimeter. I recommend them 100% in terms of the job they do, as for durability, I can't have an opinion yet.

The tire's quality seems very good. It does not fit securely on boots with height in the front part!

They are only suitable for a frozen lake, here in Greece they are useless
