The flush effect is normal. This form is the best. The sustained release ones burden the liver. The other form that does not have a flush effect is not as beneficial as this one.

Unfortunately, I did not know about the flush effect. I cannot tolerate the redness and itching. I read on a USA website that it can be avoided by taking an aspirin. I tried it a few times to see if my body would get used to it. It should be listed as a serious side effect. I would buy a smaller dose. For me, it was very uncomfortable, even with taking antihistamines. I don't know if it does what it promises. The discomfort of the flushing as a side effect is unbearable for my body.
