The content of the book is structured in such a way that all topics of General Accounting are thoroughly analyzed and concludes with: a) the detailed presentation and examination by account group as described by the Greek Accounting Standards and b) a multitude of examples of operation and connectivity for each account separately.

At the end of each section, solved problems are presented that have traditionally been included in the professional examinations of the postgraduate programs of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Greece (I.E.S.O.E.L.) as well as in the Master's exams of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (E.K.P.A.) with a focus on Applied Accounting and Auditing.
