    According to the manufacturer’s specifications, it is USB 2.0 and supports speeds of up to 480 Mbps. Obviously, it is not a cable for transferring huge files at the speeds of a modern USB-C, but for devices that use USB-B, it is exactly what is needed.

    The gold-plated contacts and the good construction of the connectors are also welcome, especially in a connection that may stay permanently attached to a printer or other device.

    There is nothing impressive to say — and that is a good thing. It is a proper, sturdy cable that does its job without problems. For USB-B, you don’t need to look for anything more complicated.
