I've had it for 4 years now, and with daily use (vacations, beaches, rain, etc.), only 2 months ago did the faux leather trim on the pockets start to wear a bit. We're talking about a war dog here! Personally, the pockets have been incredibly convenient for me, especially one front pocket that isn't visible in the photos, and the fact that I can carry it whether I'm wearing sweats, something more casual for coffee/drinks, or office clothes. It's quite large and holds a lot of things, the fabric and zippers are super durable, and it has a relatively satisfactory waterproofing (I emphasize: it's not 100% waterproof). I didn't believe I would keep a bag for so many years since after a year I usually want a change, but I really haven't found any that can replace it.
