The K&N high-flow air filter is washable and reusable, with four layers of cotton gauze treated with a special adhesive to trap contaminants. It is pre-oiled and fits in the factory air box. Its multilayer design is intended to improve airflow and increase horsepower and acceleration.
Under normal highway driving conditions, it needs cleaning every 120,000 km.
