The K&N high-flow air filter is washable and reusable, featuring multilayer cotton material treated with oil. Its four layers of cotton trap dust, dirt and contaminants, while its design allows airflow and is intended to increase horsepower and improve acceleration. It is designed as a direct replacement for the factory air filter and comes pre-oiled.
Under normal highway driving conditions, it needs to be cleaned every 75,000 km or every 5 years. It is compatible with the BMW M5 and M6.
