Description

Description

Telwin Vantage Red XL automatic electronic helmet ideal for TIG, MIG-MAG, and MMA welding with external darkness adjustment (DIN 4/5 ÷ 9/9 ÷ 13)

Description

  • The LCD liquid crystal filter automatically darkens when the welding arc is in operation and quickly returns to its transparent state when the arc is turned off. This means that the operator does not need to lower and raise the mask during operations, allowing them to work with both hands free.
  • HTelwin Vantage Red XL not only features a filter sensitivity regulator depending on the welding process being performed, but also has an external regulator that can delay the time between the darkening and lighting phases when the welding arc is completed, depending on the brightness level of the weld.

Very clear field of view, it darkens instantly, but it has given me a few issues regarding the shading; generally, though, it is good because of the brand. If it were any other one, I would say it is the same as the cheap ones. It sweats quite a lot in hot weather to the point that your forehead itches, and I take it off to wipe myself. The fastening on the forehead is quite good and can be rotated if you have sweated, without loosening it and without the collar getting cut. There is quality here; I believe the overall quality lies in the filters and the glass quality, with all those filters that, if it happens not to darken because you forgot to turn the switch off, do not blind you. The cheap ones do, yes, they blind you. Is it worth the €150 just for that? For me, yes; eyes are not worth €150.
