In F1, for example, BMC fiberglass filters minimize the loss of air flow pressure passing through the filter, ensuring the best conditions for the full utilization of maximum power. The benefits of replacing the original paper filter with the BMC fiberglass air filter, which is produced using the same technology and materials as the F1 air filters, are evident.

Design and Materials: BMC's specialized engineers, using advanced software and technical experts, produce BMC air filters using the latest technologies. An F1 filter must be very light, made from the best raw materials, and improve performance. For this reason, only woven alloys with epoxy coating are used to ensure protection from gasoline fumes and oxidation due to air moisture. The filtering material consists of a special cotton gauze impregnated with low-viscosity oil to offer the best possible air permeability.

Advanced Technology: BMC's technical staff has developed a specific production system based on soft rubber molding, which produces the familiar red BMC filters. They are made in a single piece with no welded joints in the corners, thus avoiding the risk of breakage. This system, called "Full Molding," derives from R&D in F1 and is significant for the technical and quality characteristics of BMC air filters.
