Performance: BMC air filters are designed and manufactured to ensure higher airflow than original paper filters. In F1, BMC fiberglass filters minimize the pressure loss of airflow passing through the filter, ensuring the best conditions for fully exploiting maximum power. The benefits of replacing the original paper filter with the BMC fiberglass air filter are evident.
Design and Materials: BMC's specialized engineers, using advanced software and the latest technologies, produce BMC air filters. An F1 filter must be very lightweight, made from the best raw materials, and improve performance. Only woven alloys with epoxy coating are used to protect against gasoline fumes and oxidation due to air moisture. The filtering material consists of a special cotton gauze impregnated with low-viscosity oil to offer the best possible air permeability.
Advanced Technology: BMC's technical staff has developed a specific production system based on soft rubber molding, producing the familiar red BMC filters. They are manufactured in one single piece without welded joints, thus avoiding the risk of breakage. This system, called "Full Molding," comes from F1 R&D and is crucial for the technical and quality characteristics of BMC air filters.
