Performance: BMC air filters are designed and manufactured to ensure higher airflow than the original paper filters. In F1, BMC fiberglass filters minimize the pressure loss of airflow passing through the filter, ensuring the best conditions for fully exploiting maximum power.
Design and Materials: BMC's specialized engineers produce BMC air filters using the latest technologies. An F1 filter must be very lightweight and enhance performance. Only woven alloys with epoxy coating are used to ensure protection against petrol fumes and oxidation. The filtering material consists of a special cotton gauze impregnated with low-viscosity oil for better air permeability.
Advanced Technology: BMC's technical staff has developed a production system based on soft rubber molding, which produces the red BMC filters in a single piece without welded joints, avoiding breakage risks. This system, called "Full Molding," originates from F1 R&D and is important for the technical and quality characteristics of BMC air filters.
