Performance: BMC air filters are designed and manufactured to ensure higher airflow than the original paper filters. In F1, BMC fiberglass filters minimize the loss of air flow pressure passing through the filter, ensuring the best conditions for fully exploiting maximum power. The benefits of replacing the original paper filter with the BMC fiberglass air filter are evident.
Design and Materials: BMC's specialized engineers, using advanced software, produce BMC air filters. An F1 filter must be very lightweight and improve performance. Mesh alloys with epoxy coating are used for protection against gasoline fumes and oxidation due to air humidity. The filtering material consists of special cotton gauze impregnated with low-viscosity oil.
Advanced Technology: BMC's technical staff has developed a production system based on soft rubber molding, which produces the red BMC filters. They are made in a single piece without welded joints, avoiding the risk of breakage. This system, called "Full Molding," comes from R&D in F1 and is important for the technical and quality characteristics of BMC air filters.
