The K&N E-2986 air filter is reusable and free-flowing, featuring multilayer cotton gauze impregnated with oil. Its four layers form a mesh that traps dust, dirt, and other contaminants. The filter is designed to increase horsepower and acceleration while improving airflow and overall engine performance.
It is washable, pre-oiled, and installs as a direct replacement for the factory air filter inside the original airbox. Under normal highway driving conditions, it needs cleaning every 120,000 km.
