The BMC FB651/20 free-flow air filter is designed for the BMW X5 and X6 and features a multilayer structure made of cotton gauze impregnated with low-viscosity oil. Its construction limits air pressure loss as air passes through the filter. The Full Molding method forms the soft rubber into a single piece without bonded joints.
The filter is washable and reusable. The epoxy-coated mesh alloys protect against gasoline fumes and oxidation caused by moisture.
