Users generally find it useful for connecting SCART devices to HDMI TVs, often mentioning that it’s easy to set up and does its basic job. It’s used mainly with old DVD players and consoles. However, several users point out that the picture quality is degraded or blurry, while some report that it doesn’t work properly with certain devices.
The genuine ANGA 11.99€ works perfectly, which is in the photo I uploaded.
I needed a second one, which I bought for 5.35€ from another store, because I was tempted by the price. Instead, I received a Chinese one in a bag without the power supply and the ANGA logo. I wouldn't have a problem if it worked well. The image is terrible. I returned it and got my money back
I bought it to connect my DVD player to a very good smart TV that didn't have a SCART input. The connection was successful, the sound is quite satisfactory, but the image has lost in quality, at least 25%, if I can say it numerically. It is more blurry and generally appears downgraded, no matter how good the quality of the DVD, the DVD player, and the connection cables are. I recommend it only if there is no other alternative. The job gets done, but the result is like watching a movie from 1970, just in color, on an old TV, those "boxes". It's a shame that the ultra-modern smart TVs don't have a humble SCART input for us dinosaurs who have large DVD collections from the medieval past. I would suggest, if you need a TV with a SCART input, don't buy a new one, not even a smart one (they weren't made to play and display DVDs), but head towards a second-hand website.
A simple converter that, however, loses a lot in image quality.
Connected to a Sony DVD player with a smart TV.
The image is much inferior to the DVD.
Συνδέθηκε σε dvd player sony με smart tv.
The produced quality is the lowest (of scart). Useful only as a connection when there are no alternatives.
The television recognized it in seconds and I didn't see any difference in the DVD's image at first glance.
Image with snow and poor signal as well as unnecessary plug-in on the source for its operation. Overall a bad product that is not worth buying.
I bought it to connect my Amiga to a modern monitor, but unfortunately, the result was disappointing.
The best solution for connecting a playback device with a scart output to a modern television with HDMI ports. Works perfectly fine
