The Roon Nucleus Network Audio Player is the centerpiece of the Roon music system. It manages your entire music collection and allows playback across multiple audio devices throughout the home.

Using the Roon Nucleus music server, the Roon app manages music stored on HDD, NAS, and streaming content. Simply connect the Roon Nucleus to your network, attach the hard drives, and download the Roon remote apps (iOS, Android, macOS, Windows) to be ready to play music.

The Roon Nucleus is compatible with devices such as AirPlay, Auralic Altair, Devialet, KEF LS50 Wireless, Naim Atom, Nova, Oppo UDP-203 and UDP-205, as well as USB DACs like Audioquest Dragonfly Black and Red, Chord Electronics Qutest, Hugo TT, and DAVE. Additional products expected to become compatible with Roon in the coming months.

The Roon Nucleus features the Roon operating system, which is fast and lightweight, optimized for browsing and playing music. It provides capabilities such as bit-perfect playback, DSD and PCM upsampling, multi-channel playback, and signal path display.

In addition to distributing music throughout the home, the Roon Nucleus offers excellent performance, particularly when connected to a USB DAC. The computer source has never sounded this good until now.
