The TP-LINK Omada MC210CS media converter converts 1000BASE-LX/LH optical signals to 1000BASE-T copper signals and vice versa. It uses single-mode fiber with an SC connection and extends the optical link distance up to 15 km. Data transmission and reception operate at 1310 nm.

It supports Force or Auto mode for the FX port and Auto MDI/MDIX for the TX port. It can operate as a standalone unit or with a TP-Link 19-inch system chassis. Front-panel LED indicators show the operating status.
