The volume contains texts written from February 1946 to March 1953, covering essentially the entire period of the post-war reconstruction of the USSR up to the death of I.V. Stalin.
Essentially, this is the last volume in the series of Stalin's Complete Works. Part of the volume includes orders from Stalin as Minister of National Defense of the USSR, greetings referring to the titanic efforts of the Soviet people for the reconstruction of the war-torn USSR, letters to foreign leaders, as well as interviews with foreign correspondents.
The content of the texts largely deals with issues related to the reconstruction of the USSR, as well as issues concerning the shaping of the post-war international balance of power and the struggle between the USSR and capitalist countries in conducting the class struggle on an international level.
