History

The Adidas Stan Smith is a classic tennis shoe and is known for its white and green colorway. It is widely regarded as one of the most iconic silhouettes of all time. It was first released in the early 1960s and originally didn't even carry the name Stan Smith, but was known as Robert Haillet because of the French tennis player. When Haillet retired from tennis, Adidas decided they needed a successor. That's when American tennis player Stan Smith was nominated and was destined to make history.

Classic style

Over half a century on the market and true to the original design, the classic Stan Smiths are a style staple. It has served as the focus of collaborations and has been released in hundreds of special editions and colors. They are usually made of white leather, and the upper and laces are also white in color. Unlike other Adidas shoes, it does not have the famous 3 stripes but there are three rows of perforated ventilation holes.
