I bought it to connect a MacBook Pro 13 to a Dell Ultrasharp monitor and it doesn't work at all, my monitor doesn't recognize it and goes straight into SLEEP mode. It keeps searching for a signal but the monitor can't find it and goes into |||SLEEP mode|||. I also tried it on a PC and it didn't work. I don't know, maybe mine is faulty, I'm just writing this to help.
