I would say it is overpriced... if someone considers that they can buy it as a lens kit (just like I did with my Sony ZV-E10) with a Sony camera for around +80-100€ from the camera itself. (670€ ZV-E10 + the lens goes up to 770€).
Θα έλεγα πως είναι υπερκοστολογημένος... αν σκεφτεί κανείς πως μπορεί να τον αγοράσει ως kit φακό (όπως ακριβώς έκανα με την sony zv-e10 μου) με μια sony camera στα +80-100€ περίπου απ' την ίδια την κάμερα. (670€ zv-e10 + τον φακό πάει στα 770€).
mainly for family moments, walks, etc.. overpriced by a lot..

One star because the lens that came in my hands is sharp only in the center and very soft at the edges. Basically, with kit lenses, there is zero quality control. At this price, it's not worth buying it alone. Only worth getting it as part of a camera kit.

Ideal to have it buttoned on the camera all the time, quite versatile and very lightweight. Sufficient for most cases. However, it falls behind at night due to its variable aperture. It is also worth mentioning the quite bad distortion at wide focal lengths, although the situation somewhat improves with profile correction in Lightroom. In short, it is a very good choice for a beginner at an exceptional price, to learn how to handle the camera before upgrading to a prime or a good zoom with a fixed aperture.

I gave it this rating because personally, as someone interested in taking photography/videography to a professional level, I have encountered many problems with it. It only has one ring, the electronic motor makes a lot of noise when zooming in and vibrates. Therefore, it is good for photography but not for video.
Additionally, it is very expensive for its specs.

Του έδωσα αυτή τη βαθμολογία επειδή εγώ προσωπικά, ως ενδιαφέρομενος να παω τη φωτογραφία/βιντεογραφία σε επαγγελματικό επίπεδο, έχω πολλά προβλήματα με αυτόν. Εχει 1 μόνο ring, το ηλεκτρονικό μοτορ που έχει κάνει πολύ θόρυβο όταν ζουμάρει και τραντάζεται. Συνεπώς, είναι καλός για φωτογραφία αλλά όχι για βιντεο.
