  • It is the lens that is permanently attached to the body, extremely sharp even at 1.4, 35mm equivalent to full frame, ideal for most situations and especially for street, minimum focusing distance is 30cm, and incredibly high-quality construction especially considering that you can often find it new for under 300 euros. If there is something that bothers me, it is that it does not click when you change the aperture.

  • The lens is by no means perfect. Let me start with the negatives.
It has -1 stop vignetting at f1.4 which gradually decreases and disappears at 2.8, but this is something that can be easily fixed in editing. Its weight and size are okay given the f1.4. The minimum focusing distance is close to 15 centimeters, so forget about macro-style shots. Lastly, I would have liked the aperture ring to be clicky, but that's subjective.
On the positive side, apart from its price, it is sharp—sharper than the Fuji f2. Fast and accurate AF. Correct color rendering. Nice bokeh and good light management with almost zero flares in backlight. Finally, good metal construction and a metal hood that fits onto the lens.
The lens is highly recommended if you want a lens with character. I loved it; it hasn't come off the camera body for 2 months.

It is not the best lens I have used, but it is a pretty good lens for Fuji mount, especially considering its cost. It has decent sharpness, with noticeable vignetting at 1.4, but it is by no means bad. I use it at all apertures and I must admit that it has no flaws in real-life conditions. It has left me completely satisfied. It could be a bit smaller, lighter, etc., but for the money, I have no complaints. It simulates 35mm on a full-frame, so in a sense, the size and weight are just fine. The positives of the lens are the aperture ring and the feeling of sturdiness it has. Highly recommended.
