The optical design incorporates elements of ultra-low dispersion and high refractive index to reduce various aberrations and distortions, ensuring high sharpness, color accuracy, and clarity.

The lens design includes an STM stepping motor that offers fast, near-silent, and accurate autofocus performance along with full-time manual focus override. The internal focusing design contributes to quick performance.
