works well at getting BBQ coal hot. Had to load it 4 times for enough hot coals for cooking for 12 people. Hand shield kept the handle from getting too hot to handle.

Perfect, but it holds very few coals, so it needs at least 2 refills for 3 people.

It helped me for three or four times, then the perforated bottom that holds the coals came off due to the temperature, resulting in it becoming useless. Wasted money!

It needs a little help slightly with the fan at the bottom but takes the process to another level. Great convenience..

This is an amazing aid for starting a fire, which makes things incredibly easy for you. All you have to do is put a good amount of kindling at the base of the device, fill it with charcoal, and not worry about it again until the charcoal turns white and is ready for grilling. I recommend two cotton balls soaked in alcohol at the base.
As for the size, it is definitely not for preparing lamb on a spit, but it is ideal for grilling for about 4-6 people without needing additional charcoal. Even if you need more charcoal, it remains an excellent aid for starting. Then, you can build your fire as you wish.
The construction is of good quality and, despite the high temperature generated by the charcoal, it does not affect the handle at all, which remains intact from the heat.

Simple construction, sturdy though, with dimensions 16x27.
You put the charcoal inside and light the kindling at the bottom.
In about a quarter, depending on the charcoal, it is ready.

The only negative is the quantity it holds, which, as someone else mentioned, is about half a kilo.
So, either you empty the first dose into the grill and place additional charcoal on top of it, or you empty it and prepare more in the same way.
Personally, I follow the second method.

For its price, the convenience it offers is tremendous.

Guys, buy it. You will remember me. No more agony to light the charcoal. I place cotton with alcohol and on top charcoal up to the top, I drink my coffee and in 10 minutes the charcoal is ready and lit up to the top. If I knew, I would have bought it years ago...

Very good, you have ready-to-use charcoal for grilling in 25 minutes without doing anything. The only downside is that it can hold only half a kilogram of charcoal.
