What is a brushless motor?
In continuous current motors, two coolers (also called brushes or carbon brushes) are used at the point where the electric current is supplied to their rotating part. Over time, due to friction, the coolers wear out and need to be replaced. For this reason, in recent years, brushless motors have been developed, which are far superior to a brushed motor.
Advantages
- Due to the absence of coolers, they exhibit minimal mechanical wear and minimize the need for maintenance.
- They have higher performance
- No noise and sparks are generated from friction
- They achieve very high speeds
