Coming from a Hakko (simple but fairly reliable), I can recommend this. Fast warmup, little to no smoke on first cold start, and great ergonomics. Cable could be a bit larger and longer, and cable relief isn’t great so some care needed but no complain (just something work noting for those interested). This is only missing a heatproof cable and it would be an absolute beast.

I bought it because I saw many reviews. When I received it and opened the box, I noticed that the power cable had come loose from the device! Which means, low build quality! Moving on. Buy a more expensive one... Boom

For simple tasks, it is just right. It has a digital temperature display, so it more than meets any requirements for soldering electronics. It might have a problem with soldering power electronics, but you will simply need a thicker and wider tip

if you need it for intensive use it's better to go for something else even if you want it for amateur use

It is quite good, it makes good, clean solder joints and compared to the bench one I have, but it has one flaw. If you use it outdoors with some wind and a bit of cold, its tip does not manage to heat up, resulting in not being able to solder at all. It is only for indoor use where it is not affected by weather conditions. To answer your question, I bought it for various soldering jobs I do on car electricals and because I am exposed outside, it gets cold and doesn't do the job. In the end, I bought a battery-powered one and now I can work outside as well. In general, though, it is a very good soldering iron. I don't know if it can withstand heavy use; I have used it for a total of 10 hours and have had it for 2 years. I hope I helped

It turns on and off... I managed to get the job done but with great difficulty. This is the first one I've bought and the first time I'm using a soldering iron. So maybe my own inexperience is also to blame.

Very good soldering iron. Quite decent for its price. It heats up quickly and makes very high-quality solder joints. I have used it hundreds of times, I have done fine work with surgical precision using the stock tip. Today I cleaned the residue that had built up inside the tip and it works like the first day I got it.

It reaches the temperature very quickly, the tip of the soldering iron is very good, I have used it several times and it is very good. I was worried at first because of its low price, but so far it is very good.

I never thought I would be able to make such good and quality soldering with this soldering iron. I am more than satisfied. I should normally give it 6 stars. I haven't tried it yet, it seems to heat up quickly, they just stuck the + and - the wrong way, so it's reversed

Heats up in seconds, much faster than an ERSA station I have, very lightweight and the handle doesn't get hot.

The tool is incredible. Very elegant, with a long cord, and the ability to change temperature. From 180 degrees it goes up to 500. In less than 10 seconds. Awesome. It melts the solder for fun. For its price, I consider it top.
The only negatives are the buttons that are in a slightly awkward position and you can press them by accident. Plus, I don't know yet, but I don't trust them too much in the long run. They just need attention because they seem sensitive. We'll see. The other negative is that it takes a while to cool down. But logically, on the other hand, because it HEATS.

It is the best glue gun for amateur use that I have ever held in my hands!!! All the good words that everyone has written above are absolutely correct. I recommend it without any further discussion. At this price, I don't think you will find many worthy tools.

Very good although I expected it to be a bit more powerful. It heats up very quickly and cools down relatively fast. The package does not include any other "tips". It is something I did not know before purchasing.
Overall, I recommend it for amateur use.

28/11 after several uses, I see that the tip it has requires frequent polishing because it does not heat up enough, so it does not do the job.

I had another one for years that was given to me as a gift, and that's how I learned to glue slowly by myself, but at some point, I felt like I couldn't improve. Something was going wrong. So I decided to get this one about 2 months ago, and it's like I became a professional. All those years, I had finally learned to glue well, but I didn't have the right tool to reach the temperature for multiple applications. It heats up very quickly, nice screen and buttons, and a quality tip. It would be good if you also have other ones in different shapes, they are needed for various application uses.

A few days ago I received it, it looks well-made and with good materials. I have done a test glueing... It heats up quickly and cools down quickly as soon as you unplug it. I will come back for more feedback... I think it's worth its money

Kids, this product is amazing. It sticks incredibly well and heats up very quickly, especially at the temperature I use it, which is 350 degrees. It heats up in less than a minute, so get it with your eyes closed.
If it had a backlight on the screen, it would be the best thing ever. Overall, it left me astonished
