The WiFi Extender from Andowl transmits a signal on one frequency, 2.4Ghz. The 2.4Ghz frequency is the most widespread and has a long range. The repeater can offer up to 300Mbps in total to the devices connected to it. For example, a high-definition 4K movie requires about 25Mbps.
The speed that each connected device will have depends on:
- the distance
- the obstacles
- how many other devices are connected
- how many other networks are in the same area
It is of Wi-Fi 4 generation, which is recommended for use with a few devices and for applications that do not require high speeds. The connection via ethernet cable offers a speed of 100Mbps, which is sufficient to meet all needs.
