The resolution of the TV is 4K Ultra HD. Something that we all commented on when we turned it on is the quality of the image. It's not very clear, the boundaries between shapes are not sharp, as they say in English. We activated the cinema mode, but it's still not like other LG TVs we have, nor like a Sony. It doesn't bother us, of course, but it surprised us.

Other than that, it's fine. Both the menu and the sound seemed nice to us.

I had the 2018 model UJ701, which had the known (at least internationally) issue of the yellow LEDs malfunctioning, resulting in the entire image gradually turning blue.

Much better in sound, although they have the same power nominally.
Good construction but completely plastic finish (the old one had stainless steel details).
Lightweight and stable on its base.
It needs a little adjustment to hide some promotional messages, menus, applications, etc., but everything is okay.

The sound and image modes are very well adjusted. Very fast (menu, response, channel changes).

Very good viewing angles.
Nice remote control, lighter than the previous generation and I think a little more balanced in the hand.

Easy connection of wireless devices and related app for mobiles.

Owner of this TV for almost 2 months now, I will mention the following.
The factory colors are unacceptable. It definitely needs calibration, something I don't know how and what settings to do. The sound is decent BUT in terms of viewing angle, it is tragic. Luckily, I have a table with wheels and I can move it a bit because if I had put it on the wall, I would regret it now. Its menu is good and the smart control it has helps, but it is slow. Regarding the quality of the plastic it has, I will say that it is cheap. For the 350 euros I found it, it is OK but don't fool us that it was 700 euros!!!

Unfortunately, the TV disappointed me and I will analyze below.
The factory colors are not at good levels, I don't know how they will be after calibration.
On digital channels playing at 720 & 1080, it is decent but only up to that point. On 4K content, it is good but still lacks color accuracy.
The menu has many options and is user-friendly, but it is very slow!!! Its processor is not good like the more expensive models.
The sound, although good across all spectrums, lacks high volume.
Lastly, that's why it gets 2 stars, the viewing angles are terrible. It takes me back 15 years to the first LCD TVs.
From 30 degrees, it starts to become a joke, at 60 degrees, you can't distinguish colors, it's simply tragic!!!
I wonder how some others mention good viewing angles.....
Before I bought this for my country house, I had a Samsung TV for €150 and it had excellent viewing angles. Before the discount, the TV is priced at €700 for a 43'' model from 2021, so you expect it to be decent in some aspects, but it's not. I would advise you not to solely rely on web reviews when making a purchase and always visit one of the big stores to see what you were about to buy.

I am now a owner as well, having the 18 uj701 model and always talking about the 43-inch model, let's go.......

positives
- Sound is very good.. it has improved and has adjustment for wall mounting (the previous one had kardon) and yes the new one sounds much better!!!!
- Excellent viewing angles.... you can see from everywhere!
- Its blacks have improved compared to the old model (now you can finally see black)
- Remote control is much better than the old one and more stable.... yes, you need to get used to it because it also functions as a mouse...
- It upscales the image well on channels (I mean the digeea ones), it's logical for the regular ones to be blurry but on HD it's amazing....
- 4K is classically awesome.... perfect colors.....
- The interface on the home button with the applications has changed and it's nice compared to the old one
- More picture settings than before with filmmaker and gaming (the old one didn't have them) and it's amazing, I must say

negatives
- I was bothered by the fact that my old one had an aluminum finish on the frame and this one seems to be of lower quality.... it's plastic in both cases but my old one looked like aluminum... anyway.... I couldn't find any other negatives but here we are to inform our evaluation!
- I believe it's worth the purchase for this price and I will come back with photos!!!!!!

I bought it for my room when my old LG TV broke down. I was torn between this one and the NANO756, but I chose this one because of the legs it has. I had some reservations because I saw many complaints about various things. That it doesn't have good picture quality, that it requires a lot of customization to be good, that the menu is terrible, that the regular channels play blurry, that the sound is not good, etc. First of all, I have to say that this is the first 4k TV I've owned. I agree with some complaints and disagree with others. Indeed, the first thing you notice and dislike is the menu, which has nothing to do with what LG had accustomed us to in previous models, and personally, I loved it. Now it has become colorless, strange, confusing, slow, and annoying. It followed the footsteps of Samsung's stupid menu. As for the picture, I'm neither thrilled nor disappointed. It doesn't have an OLED picture, but it's not like looking through foggy glass either. The picture and colors are very decent on terrestrial channels. Of course, the difference with full HD is evident and enjoyable when watching 4k content. The infamous light bleed is expected to be there, and you know it from the beginning, but I found it to be extremely minimal, almost imperceptible, and it doesn't bother me. Perhaps it's because this particular panel is direct LED and not edge LED. I played with the settings to see how much improvement I could achieve, as some people say. Nothing spectacular happened. The default settings were quite satisfactory, and whenever I adjusted them more towards the worse, the picture got worse rather than better. I set the sound to the clear voice setting, and it's just right. The speakers are not mind-blowing, but they cover my needs without the need for a soundbar. The remote control was upgraded and downgraded at the same time. Personally, I wasn't thrilled that it became a mouse; I prefer the classic navigation with buttons, but it's all a matter of getting used to it. The annoying thing is that useful buttons were removed, such as info, list, guide, and recall, and many functions were accumulated in the same button, so you have to search and press it again and again to see something that previously required just one click, like the movie description or the channel list. I was also disappointed that useful buttons were removed and completely useless ones were added, like Alexa and Google Assistant, which are not supported in Greece anyway, and application buttons that you can find in the menu. The remote control was a bit of a disappointment for me, but okay, you get used to it. The other thing I expected to see with horror based on what some people said, but in the end, I didn't see, is the poor viewing angle. I didn't see the image distort or disappear even when I viewed it from an angle.
As for the applications, YouTube and ERTFLIX that I tried work fine. The stand is stable and sits well on the furniture, and it doesn't risk falling with a slight shake, which it probably wouldn't be able to handle if it had the classic 4 legs. Unfortunately, the stand doesn't rotate at all, unlike the old ones, but it's a minor issue; after all, I have it facing the bed.
One last complaint is that it comes with 2 HDMI ports and one USB on the side, and that's it. They could have done something better here, perhaps.
In conclusion, I don't regret the purchase. It's a decent 4k TV, ideal for a bedroom, with all the basic applications for internet connection and enjoying 4k content, either online or from a hard drive. In this price and inch category, wherever you go, you will encounter the same, especially when it comes to the panel. If you want something better, you have to dig deeper into your pocket and go for OLED. The only thing left to see is how it will withstand over time.

I have had the television for almost a month and I can say that it has a very good picture, sound, and overall it is a good purchase. It loses one star for the difficult menu and for the remote control, which requires a lot of familiarity until you get used to the buttons. I bought it on Black Friday, already having the 2017 model which my son broke, and they asked me for 500 euros to replace the screen.
The TV is very good for the money. The picture is excellent with some settings. It is necessary to disable the energy saving. The sound is incredibly loud.
I like the menu with the new webos interface and the magic remote. I also have the old remote for anyone who doesn't like the magic. Value for money.

The 43" TV is very good, after a lot of searching I bought it and I am satisfied. Very good picture, the blacks are very good and the colors are vibrant. The sound is perfect. Whoever has it or gets it should disable the energy saving, there is a big difference in brightness.

It doesn't have an OLED picture, but it's not like looking through foggy glass either. The picture and colors are very decent on terrestrial channels. Of course, the difference with full HD is evident and enjoyable when watching 4k content. The infamous light bleed is expected to be there, and you know it from the beginning, but I found it to be extremely minimal, almost imperceptible, and it doesn't bother me. Perhaps it's because this particular panel is direct LED and not edge LED. I played with the settings to see how much improvement I could achieve, as some people say. Nothing spectacular happened. The default settings were quite satisfactory, and whenever I adjusted them more towards the worse, the picture got worse rather than better. I set the sound to the clear voice setting, and it's just right. The speakers are not mind-blowing, but they cover my needs without the need for a soundbar. The remote control was upgraded and downgraded at the same time. Personally, I wasn't thrilled that it became a mouse; I prefer the classic navigation with buttons, but it's all a matter of getting used to it. The annoying thing is that useful buttons were removed, such as info, list, guide, and recall, and many functions were accumulated in the same button, so you have to search and press it again and again to see something that previously required just one click, like the movie description or the channel list. I was also disappointed that useful buttons were removed and completely useless ones were added, like Alexa and Google Assistant, which are not supported in Greece anyway, and application buttons that you can find in the menu. The remote control was a bit of a disappointment for me, but okay, you get used to it. The other thing I expected to see with horror based on what some people said, but in the end, I didn't see, is the poor viewing angle. I didn't see the image distort or disappear even when I viewed it from an angle.
As for the applications, YouTube and ERTFLIX that I tried work fine. The stand is stable and sits well on the furniture, and it doesn't risk falling with a slight shake, which it probably wouldn't be able to handle if it had the classic 4 legs. Unfortunately, the stand doesn't rotate at all, unlike the old ones, but it's a minor issue; after all, I have it facing the bed.
One last complaint is that it comes with 2 HDMI ports and one USB on the side, and that's it. They could have done something better here, perhaps.
In conclusion, I don't regret the purchase. It's a decent 4k TV, ideal for a bedroom, with all the basic applications for internet connection and enjoying 4k content, either online or from a hard drive. In this price and inch category, wherever you go, you will encounter the same, especially when it comes to the panel. If you want something better, you have to dig deeper into your pocket and go for OLED. The only thing left to see is how it will withstand over time.

I have had the television for almost a month and I can say that it has a very good picture, sound, and overall it is a good purchase. It loses one star for the difficult menu and for the remote control, which requires a lot of familiarity until you get used to the buttons. Of course, the remote control, which is a mouse and also has voice command, is awesome.

I bought it on Black Friday, already having the 2017 model which my son broke, and they asked me for 500 euros to replace the screen.
The TV is very good for the money. The picture is excellent with some settings. It is necessary to disable the energy saving. The sound is incredibly loud.
I like the menu with the new webos interface and the magic remote. I also have the old remote for anyone who doesn't like the magic. Value for money.

The 43" TV is very good, after a lot of searching I bought it and I am satisfied. Very good picture, the blacks are very good and the colors are vibrant. The sound is perfect. Whoever has it or gets it should disable the energy saving, there is a big difference in brightness.

Something that we all commented on when we turned it on is the quality of the image. It's not very clear, the boundaries between shapes are not sharp, as they say in English. We activated the cinema mode, but it's still not like other LG TVs we have, nor like a Sony. It doesn't bother us, of course, but it surprised us.

I had the 2018 model UJ701, which had the known (at least internationally) issue of the yellow LEDs malfunctioning, resulting in the entire image gradually turning blue.

Much better in sound, although they have the same power nominally.
Good construction but completely plastic finish (the old one had stainless steel details).
Lightweight and stable on its base.
It needs a little adjustment to hide some promotional messages, menus, applications, etc., but everything is okay.

The sound and image modes are very well adjusted. Very fast (menu, response, channel changes).

Very good viewing angles.
Nice remote control, lighter than the previous generation and I think a little more balanced in the hand.

Easy connection of wireless devices and related app for mobiles.
