This collection of essays, written by a group of distinguished classical philologists, addressing some particularly complex and clearly challenging Homeric issues, aims to pay the due tribute to a remarkably astute researcher of epic poetry, Antonis Regakos, Academic and Professor of Ancient Greek Philology in the Department of Philology at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, and to thus celebrate the joyful occasion of his 60th birthday.

The editors, fortunate recipients of the wisdom and friendship of the honoree, believe that this is the appropriate opportunity to emphasize the valuable and memorable influence of Antonis Regakos in the field of the study of ancient Greek literature worldwide.
