Electrotherapy

Electrotherapy, through EMS (Electrical Muscle Stimulation) or TENS (Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation), is a technique that uses electrical pulses to affect muscles and nerves.

  • EMS causes contraction and relaxation of the muscles for strengthening, improving circulation, and rehabilitation after injuries, by mimicking the commands of the brain.
  • In contrast, TENS stimulates the nerves with gentle pulses mainly to provide pain relief. It works by blocking pain signals or enhancing the production of endorphins, without causing muscle contraction.

Acupressure

The Acupressure massage function utilizes the principles of traditional Chinese medicine by applying targeted pressure to specific points on the body. The gentle yet steady pressure improves blood circulation, reduces swelling, and stimulates the release of endorphins—the body’s natural painkillers. As a result, it offers a natural and non-invasive solution for relieving discomfort.

The first time I received it, it was defective. It would adjust the volume on its own. I decided to proceed with a replacement, but unfortunately, the second one I received was even more defective. It would stop and start on its own and adjust the volume on its own again. Overall, it is a very poorly made Chinese product. It's better to spend a little more money and get something better.
